Patricia Davis, 76, Colona, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home. Funeral services are 10 AM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. Patricia Hoepfner was born July 14, 1938 in Hawkeye, IA, the daughter of Ernest and Myrtle (Fagenbaum) Hoepfner. She married Gerald Keith Sr. in 1955. She married Cyril Preston Davis on September 24, 1974 in Moline. Patricia had worked as an RN at the former Moline Public Hospital, and later as a welder for International Harvester. She enjoyed crocheting, taking road trips, being with her family and hanging out at the concession stand at Colona School. Patricia's 3 year battle with cancer was courageous and unflinching. She was always an inspiration to anyone she came across. She worked with research doctors and teams doing clinical trials, with the benefit of helping others. She never stopped fighting. Survivors include her children, Gerald Keith, Kerry Mike Keith, Greg (Tammy) Keith, Sandra (Boaz) Ben-Nun, Debby (Jeremy) Plumb and Stacie (Justin) Lanzen, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and siblings, Donna Fink, Santa Clarita, CA, Larry Hoepfner, East Moline and June Diercks, McCausland, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband Cyril, parents and 2 brothers. The family would like to thank Dr. Adam Petrich and his team at Northwestern Memorial in Chicago for the years they added to her life.
