Funeral services for Patricia E. Jacques, 87, Hampton, are 10 AM Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hampton. Burial is in Hampton Township Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30PM. Memorials may be made to Quad City Right to Life or to the Salvation Army. Patricia died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Hope Creek, East Moline. Patricia Killian was born August 9, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Harold and Clara (Badtke) Killian. At age 16 she met her husband Bob, at a school dance at Marquette University High School which bordered Pat's back yard and Bob attended. They were married October 23, 1943 in Visalia CA before Robert Jacques was deployed for WWII. Bob died on July 15, 1997. Pat was a member of St. Mary's Church, Hampton and was past president of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was active in the Hampton Blood Drives through the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center and was involved in the Quad City Newcomers. Survivors include her children and their spouses; Mary and Bill Smith, Milwaukee, WI, Ricky and Kathy Jacques, Milwaukee, Marc and Pam Jacques, Hampton, Bruce and Robin Jacques, Taylor Ridge and Michelle and Roger Beck, Hampton, grandchildren (spouses): Sheila (CJ) Bettin, Eva (Brian) Kuether, Willy Smith, Brett Jacques, Brigette (Brian) Kucharski, Penny (Shane) Jacobs, Jessica Jacques, Nichole Jacques, Jeremy Jacques, Heather Gallens, Taylor Jacques, Elise Beck and Mitch Beck, great-grandchildren; Michael (Esa) Pufahl, George Kuether, Emily Kuether, Laura Smith, Jacob Kucharski, Rachel Kucharski, Shawn Jacobs and Olivia Franks, a great-great grandson Adam Pufahl, and a brother and sister-in-law Richard and Nancy Killian, Milwaukee. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jack and her husband Robert.
