Patricia R. "Pat" Fluegel, 77, of East Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Private graveside services will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Pat was born December 22, 1944, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Harold A. and R Virginia (Clingan) Boss. She married Emiel "Sonny" Fluegel, November 10, 1973, in Rock Island. He passed away, September 11, 2011. She worked as a bus monitor for the East Moline School District #37 for 21.5 years, retiring in 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known by all the neighborhood kids as "Grandma Pat." Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved a parade!

Survivors include her children, Dawn Utley, East Moline, Michael (Wilma) Utley, Bridgeton, MO, Robert Utley (Wendy Degenhardt) St. Peters, MO and Michelle (Lyle) Felton, JR, Moline; 5 step children; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Vicki (Bill) Weber, Rock Island, Donna (Dan) Newman Rock Island, Carrol (CJ) Partain, Silvis, IL, and Ginger Lovett, TN; and her dog, "Addie."

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Ronald and Terrance Boss; and her dogs, Mitzi and Gizmoe.
