Patricia A Smith, 68, Moline, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Unity Point Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services are 11 AM Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline. Private family committal will be in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Pat was born December 5, 1945 in Rock Island, the daughter of Charles L and Arlene (Stern) VanRycke. She married Charles Smith on June 20, 1965 in East Moline. Pat worked most recently at Beverly Manor Apartments, Moline. She was active in her church, was a Minnesota Vikings Fan and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband Charles, daughters, Theresa (Richard) Bodkin, Davenport, and Lori Smith, Silvis, 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, her mother Arlene VanRycke, East Moline, 4 step-great grandchildren and brothers, Steve (Millie) VanRycke, Davenport and Jim (Connie) VanRycke, Colona. She was preceded in death by her father and sister Rosemary Sager.
