Patty L. Scott, 67, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens – Kewanee, Illinois.

Patty was born on March 28, 1958, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Vivian and Vernice (Janssen) Hurlbutt.  She married Terry Scott on May 24, 1975, in Cambridge, IL.  Patty had worked at the Dollar General and McDonalds in Geneseo, IL.  She enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles, along with taking trips to casinos.  Patty loved having cats.

Patty is survived by her husband, Terry Scott; sons, Tim (Andrea) Scott and Jonathan (Lisa Gottwalt) Scott; granddaughters, Kayla Scott and Mary Kenniston; nieces, Kimberly (Ned) Goodwin and Carrie Richardson; and nephew, Gerald Prather.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Caroline Anderson.
