Funeral services for Paul Owens, 71, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Mr. Owens died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Trinity Rock Island. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church for the Stained Glass Window Restoration or to Alleman High School. Paul was born June 17, 1940 in Moline, IL, the son of Arnold and Margaret Brandt Owens. He had served in the US Navy where he had been a Seabee. He retired from Don E. Williams Company, Rock Island, after 35 years of service. Survivors include his daughter, Kathi (Bob) Ericson Jr., Imperial, MO; sons, Chris Owens, East Moline and Chad Owens, Moline; grandchildren, Mallory, Jonathan, and Christopher Owens, Devin and Bayli Ericson; brother, Duane Owens, East Moline; special nieces Kim Corbett and Candi Owens.
