Paula G. Ramos, 85, East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Hope Creek, East Moline. Private funeral services will be live-streamed on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10 am by logging into http://www.facebook.com/vanhoefuneralhome. A public visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd., East Moline from 5-8 PM. A rosary will be recited at 4:30 PM. All guests are required to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.

Paula Garza was born on June 18, 1935 in Dilly, TX, the daughter of Faustino and Tomasa (Jaco) Garza. She married Jose Ramos on September 29, 1952 in Texas. Paula was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Ramos sang in the Spanish Choir at the former St. Mary's East Moline for decades. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved to dance and sing.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Jose, children, Irma (Juan) Lopez, East Moline, Jose (Lupe) Ramos Jr., East Moline, Elda (Jesse) Trevino, Muscatine, IA and Araceli "Sally" (Claudio) Cabrales, East Moline, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and sister, Santos Bernal.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Chabel Garza, Juan Garza, Jesus Garza, Pedro Garza, Manuela Cordenes, Concepcion Pena and Marge Lopez.
