Pauline Licko, 93, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Hope Creek Care Center, Moline. Graveside services are 11 AM Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend should meet at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Pauline Arch was born April 7, 1925 in Council Bluffs, IA, the daughter of Ransom and Lydia Mae Gelder Arch. She married John Licko in 1943. He died March 30, 2011. Pauline worked as a Realtor for Mel Foster Co. She enjoyed playing Bingo and in earlier years was an avid golfer, award winning pool player and played Bridge and Hearts. Survivors include her children, Boni Light (William Stocker), Lake Forest, CA, Ron (Nancy) Licko, East Moline and Donna (Andrew) Kerr, Maricopa, AZ, seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. The family is grateful for the wonderful caregivers of Hope Creek, especially Jamie and Rhonda.
