Pauline Mae Shaw, 82, East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Funeral services are 1PM Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 3-7PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorials may be made to her church. Pauline Neuleib was born on May 10, 1930 in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Laura (Hollatz) Neuleib. She graduated from Memorial School of Nursing in Springfield, IL and had worked as a Registered Nurse. She married Robert E. Shaw on November 10, 1951 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Geneseo. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed her role as wife and mother. She was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed wintering in Naples FL, for 20 winters. Pauline was a member of the Catfish Jazz Society, American Legion Auxiliary, St. John 60+, and St. John's Birthday Club. In earlier years, she sang in the Senior Choir. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Bob, her children, Deborah J Shaw, Normal, IL, David Shaw, Springfield, IL and Jeffrey (Laura) Shaw, Speedway, IN, grandchildren, Jared, Tyler and Jaclyn, great grandson Morgan Shaw, her brother Robert Neuleib, Normal, daughter-in-law Rise' Shaw, West Dundee, IL, and her sister in Christ, Joanne Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents, son James and grandson Michael Shaw.
