Funeral services for Pearl Moss, 76, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Moss died Friday, June 10, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Pearl was born March 13, 1929 in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Spencer and Ella (Garner) Tate. She married William T. Moss, in 1967 in Moline, IL. He died November 11, 1986. She loved cooking and baking. While working at the former Modernist Restaurant, Moline, she had gained quite a following for her pies. She enjoyed volunteering at Illini Convenient Care. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Cathie and Steve Horowitz of Seattle, WA; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sharen Bush of Colona, IL; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Hansen, Allen, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Carl Bush and her parents.
