Funeral services for Peggy Jo Bowman, 75, of Oskaloosa, IA, will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Bowman passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at her home in Oskaloosa.

Peggy was born June 4, 1949, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Simon and Grace (Blake) Thompson. She married Kenneth Bowman September 2, 1972, in Colona/Green Rock, IL.

Survivors include her children, Jennifer (Charles) Cole, of East Moline, IL, and Wesley (Laura) Bowman, of Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Austin Bowman, Elizabeth (Travis) Wiley, Felicity Bowman, and Ruby Bowman; great grandchildren, Dawson Cole, and Carter Wiley; siblings, Margaret Gorman, of Lewisburg, KY, Jerry (Sharon) Thompson, of Beacon, IA, Becky (Easman) Poe, of Beacon, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Grace Thompson; siblings, Robert Thompson, Jack Thompson, Howard Thompson, Roger Thompson, and Grace Ellen Kennedy; and brother-in-law, Bob Gorman.
