Penelope E. "Penny" Seaman, 82, Moline, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at her home. Funeral services are 12PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Colona American Legion Auxiliary.

Penny was born September 1, 1936 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Nicholas and Jane Lillian (Hamor) Collatos. She married Charles E. Seaman on September 7, 1957 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Davenport. He died August 12, 2008. She worked as a teacher's aid for 29 years. Penny was a member of the Colona Legion Auxiliary, Illini Hospital Auxiliary and the Lions Club. She and her husband enjoyed golfing at Geneseo Country Club, neighborhood card club and playing bingo. She loved time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Jane (Bruce) Austin, Clinton, IA, William Seaman, Colona, and George (Cindy) Seaman, Davenport, grandsons, William, Nicholas, Charles and Christopher.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Chuck, parents, and brothers, Nicholas and George.
