Funeral services for Perry J. Loding, 76, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. Loding died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline or to the American Heart Association. Perry was born September 21, 1930 in Moline, IL, the son of Perry B. and Clara (Hynd) Loding. He served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He married Sharon McMillin May 29, 1970 in Rockton, IL. He had owned and operated Loding Machine Co. Milan, IL and Family Center Coin Wash, East Moline. Perry was an avid golfer and bowler. He loved to travel with his wife and close friends. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, the East Moline American Legion Post 227, the East Moline AMVETS Post 145, Moline Vikings Club, and Golfmohr, East Moline Survivors include: his wife, Sharon Loding of East Moline; daughters and son-in-law, Debbie Loding of East Moline, Patricia Britt of Wilmington, NC, Vickie and Shannon Hogan of Flowery Branch, GA, sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Lynette DePorter of East Moline, Brian and Julie DePorter of Colona, IL; grandchildren, Jeffrey Morgan, Jacob and Lucas Britt, Aubree and Laycee DePorter, Breanne and Brett DePorter, Emily and Paige VandeWiele; brother, Albert Loding.
