Peter G. Fretto, 53, Coal Valley died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Trinity, Rock Island. At Pete's request, his body will be cremated. Graveside committal services are 11 AM Tuesday at Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at The Dedicated Few Christian Church, Rock Island at 3 PM. Memorials may be made to the family. Peter was born September 12, 1957 the son of Roy and Dorothy Lindsey in Rochester, NY. He married Deborah Bennett in 1984 in Davenport, IA. Peter worked at QC Die Casting, Moline. He had also worked in home improvement for several area contractors. He was a jack of all trades. Pete dearly loved his grandchildren. Survivors include his children and (spouse); David (Cheynna)England, Kristina (Scott) Rains, Savannah Fretto, Vickie Fretto and Peter Fretto Jr., fourteen grandchildren, his mother Dorothy Freelove, and siblings; Sandra Wakeland, David Lindsey, Randy Lindsey, Jeanetta Lindsey, John Lindsey and Stacey Lindsey and his fiance Brenda Axtell. He is preceded in death by his father and brothers Roy and Johnny.
