Funeral services for Philip A. Melillo, 50, of Colona, IL, will be 9:30 AM Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona, IL. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Mr. Melillo died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at his home. Memorials may be made to the family. Philip was born October 26, 1958 in New Haven CT., the son of Philip F. and Loya (Street) Melillo. He had served in the US Army. He worked for McLaughlin Body, East Moline. He enjoyed music, classic cars and collecting anything to do with foxes. Survivors include: mother and stepfather, Loya and Elton Fulscher of San Antonio, TX; father and stepmother, Philip and Barbara Melillo of Moline, IL; stepsister, Deanna Pate of Moline; stepbrothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Eva Lyon of Moline, Jay and Heather Townsend of Keithsburg, IL, Russ and Danelle Lyon of Port Byron, IL; several nieces and nephews.
