Phyllis Maisenbach Marshall Funeral services for Phyllis Marshall, 89, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Marshall died Thursday, October 23, 2014, at her home. Phyllis Maisenbach was born May 17, 1925, in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Henry and Vada Hurlbut Maisenbach. She married William Marshall April 24, 1948, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Island, IL. She was a graduate of the Cadet Nursing Program during WWII. She had worked as a nurse locally in the Quad City Area Hospitals. She had been a giving person with a great sense of humor. She respected everyone and loved them unconditionally. Phyllis had been a devout member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Moline, where she had been an active member. She enjoyed playing cards and games. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, William Marshall, East Moline; daughters, Pamela (Steve) Baustian, Sycamore, IL, Teresa Marshall, Davenport, IA, Lori (Mike) Coe, East Moline; sons, Wayne (Connie) Marshall, Centralia, IL, and Edward "Duke" (Diana) Marshall, Cottenwood, CA; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Edna Woolley, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, William Charles Marshall; infant daughter, Mary Ann Marshall; and infant son, Phillip John Marshall.
