Phyllis Ramos O'Sullivan, 55, Hamilton, OH, formerly of East Moline, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at her home. Funeral services are 10 AM Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Phyllis Ramos was born October 18, 1958 in Moline, the daughter of Albert and Sara (Martel) Ramos. She graduated from UTHS class of 1976 and graduated from Sterling School of Cosmetology in 1980. She married Mike O'Sullivan on November 27, 2010. Phyllis had worked locally as a waitress and a server. Phyllis loved being a homemaker and truly made her house a home. She would decorate her home for every season. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Phyllis was an excellent cook and had a way with growing things. After moving to Ohio, Facebook helped her to keep in touch with her friends and family. Survivors include her husband Mike, son Nicholas (Lindsey) Ramos, East Moline, step daughters, Amanda Massman, and Kelly O'Sullivan, both of Palm Coast, FL, grandchildren, Nico and Jeremiah, and brothers Tim Ramos (Skyler Carroll), Hoods Port, WA and Randy (Denise) Ramos, East Moline, and her beloved kitty, Sammie. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary.
