Phyllis Jane Summers, 65, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Midwestern Regional Medical Center, Zion, IL. Graveside committal will be 1PM Friday at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Phyllis was born July 20, 1946 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of Emil and Rose Kosmaka Kulas. She married Cliff Summers September 3, 1966 in Milan, IL. He died June 3, 1977. She had last worked for ARAMARK, East Moline, for nearly 20 years. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Chris) Smith of Silvis, IL; son, Robert Summers of Moline; grandchildren, Jeremy (Sara) Summers and Anna Sayers; great-granddaughter, Amilia Summers; her father, Emil Kulas of Hoople, ND; sister, Darlene (Rodger) Peterson of Fargo, ND, Richard Kulas of Grand Forks, ND, Roger Kulas of Prairie du Chien , WI; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, husband, and companion of 20 years, LaVern "Vern" Reiling.
