Phyllis M. Troutwine, 84, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. Private services will be held at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Phyllis Eastman was born November 8, 1936, in Cedar Falls, IA, the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy (High) Eastman. She married Lawrence "Larry" Troutwine September 15, 1956, in Ceder Falls. He died October 13, 2006. Phyllis was a loving homemaker who devoted her life to her family. Survivors include daughter, Becky Layman, Colorado Springs, CO; son, Mark Troutwine, Bettendorf, Iowa; grandchildren Megan (Jim) Lance, Amanda Layman, Christian Troutwine, and Derek Troutwine; great-granddaughters Emma Lance, Anna Lance, Audrey Lance, Evie Lance, and Adelynn Troutwine; sisters, Dorothy (Darryl) Corwin, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Patty Hool (Max), Sioux City, Iowa, and brother Gary Eastman, Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, and 1 sister and her beloved dog, Peach. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
