Phyllis A. Williams, 77, of Moline, passed away at home on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Visitation is 3-7PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Funeral services are 10 AM Wednesday at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. Phyllis was born on November 11, 1935 in Moline, the daughter of Elmer and Jennie Valentine. She graduated from United Township High School, East Moline, in 1953. She married Thomas E. Williams on January 16, 1954 in Chicago, IL. She was a childcare giver for many years. Phyllis was an active member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. She was a member of the Red Hat Club. Survivors include her husband Tom, three sons and daughters-in-law, Gy and Rhonda Williams, Todd and Amy Williams and Chad and Tracey Williams, nine grandchildren, Sara Williams and her husband Jim Cook, Katie Williams, Mitch Williams and wife Kali, Matthew Williams, Jaime Williams, Keith Williams, Courtney Weimer, Justin Brown and wife Stefanie, and Tyler Brown, seven great grandchildren, sister Pauline VanTieghem and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
