Rachel Harthorn, 90, formerly of Rock Island, died Sunday, May 20, 2006 at Parkview Healthcare, East Moline. Private inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. At Rachel's request, there will be no services. Rachel Turf was born April 9, 1916 in East Moline. She married William Harthorn in 1945 in Rock Island.
