Funeral services for Rachel Pauline Lee, 76, of Alpha, IL, formerly of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lee died Monday, April 28, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Pauline Nordeen was born March 5, 1932 in Bishop Hill, IL, the daughter of Paul and Bess (Van Dyke) Nordeen. She married Arnold E. Lee April 17, 1951 in Cornith, MS. He died July 26, 2000. She had worked for the former Buddy L. Toy Company, East Moline, the Ships Wheel,Campbell's Island, and the Hoffman School Cafeteria. She enjoyed camping with her family and playing cards with her friends. She had a special gift of always making people feel at home. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Mary and Steve Lieferman of Hopedale, IL, LaWanda Fischlein of Silvis, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Margaret Lee of East Moline, Paul and Kathleen Lee of Hillsdale, IL, Dave and Peggy Lee of Cable, IL, Brad and Jennifer Lee of Rock Island, IL; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Donna and Louis Larson of Galva, IL, Barbara Gibson of Rock Island, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvey and Jean Nordeen of Bishop Hill, Harold Nordeen of Bishop Hill, Stewart and Kathy Nordeen of Moline, IL.
