Rafael V. Gonzalez, 92, East Moline, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at his home. At his request there will be no services.

Rafael was born on October 4, 1927 in Mexico. He moved to the United States in 1942. He married Lucy Guerrero on October 4, 1952 in Moline. She died April 2, 1983. Rafael worked for the former Rock Island Lines and retired from John Deere Foundry. He enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his son Willie Gonzalez, East Moline.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Jose.
