Ralph "Harold" Riggs, Jr. , 69, of Silvis, IL, passed away Friday November 28, 2025, at his home.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ralph was born February 24, 1956, in Moline, IL, to Ralph, Sr. and Laura (Levrouw) Riggs.

He was employed with Roadway for a time and later with John Deere Parts and Distribution Center, Milan.

Ralph enjoyed fishing, hunting, and having a good meal, especially if it was Chinese or Mexican food.

Surviving are his son, Shawn Riggs, Rock Island, IL; daughter, Alicia (Mat) Schnepple, Galva, IL; stepdaughter, Chelsea (Joey) Herring, Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Tyler Charles Riggs, Olivia Brooke Schnepple, Josie Herring, and David Herring; one great-granddaughter; siblings, Beverly Meguffy, Hillsdale, IL, Rick (Sue) Riggs, Moline, and Jody Riggs, East Moline; and several nieces and nephews, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sr. and Laura; sister, Connie Woolsey; brother-in-law, Dan Meguffy; and nephew, Conner Woolsey.
