Funeral services for Randall J. "Randy" Ward, 61, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00 am Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Cordova Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Ward died August 4, 2016, after a boating mishap on the Rock River near Cleveland, IL. Randy was born February 16, 1955, in Moline, IL, the son of David and Betty Hatten Ward. He married Toni Lamb July 23, 1987. He retired from John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline, in 2013, after 41 years of service. Randy was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting fishing, boating, and snowmobiling. He and his wife spoiled Jake and Gunner their white labrador retrievers. Survivors include his wife, Toni Ward, Silvis; their "children" Jake and Gunner; mother, Betty Ward, East Moline; brother, Scott (Diana) Ward, East Moline; mother-in-law, Marilyn Lamb, Silvis; brother-in-law, David (Jane) Lamb, Moline, sister-in-law, Susan (William) Burns, Cordova; cousins, nieces and nephews.
