Randy R. Carpentier, 64, of East Moline, passed away November 13, 2025.

A visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline.

Randy was born on May 16, 1961, in Geneseo, the son of Thomas R. and Mary Jo (Staton) Carpentier.  He was owner/operator of Kar Klinic, Silvis.  Randy loved everything about cars, from working on them to racing, that was his passion.  He also enjoyed going camping and fishing.

Randy is survived by his daughter Raena Carpentier; grandchildren, Lennex, Zareion Jr., Alle, Gage, Tom, Jaxson, and Ethan; great grandchildren, Kitayna and Nico; and sisters, Carrie Staton, Rock Island and Cindy Strader, Geneseo.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Thomas R. and James E. Carpentier; and brother, James D. Carpentier.
