Randy L. Lindell, 55, Port Byron, died Friday, December 14, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. At Randy's request his body will be cremated following visitation and a committal service will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum on Tuesday December 18th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Randy was born on June 12, 1952 in Galesburg, the son of Max and Barbara (Phillips) Lindell. He married Tamara "Tammy" Huston on October 27, 1973. He retired as a welder from John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline on October 1, 2006. Randy was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, the Cubs and the Fighting Illini. He enjoyed camping and following his favorite NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne. He enjoyed time with family and friends. He truly adored his family especially his one and only granddaughter Madison. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, son and daughter-in-law Gabe and Jennifer Lindell, Davenport, granddaughter Madison, his "mother" Suellyn "Tudy" Jordan and brothers Lonnie, East Moline, Tim (Pam) and Chris, both of Davenport.
