Randy Martinson has gone home peacefully to his heavenly father.

A celebration of life will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the East Moline American Legion, 829 16th Avenue, East Moline, Illinois.  Memorials may be made to QC Paws or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.

Randy loved playing in the Festival of Trees as a Hawaiian, Santa Clause, and Captain Morgan with the Q.C. Parrot Heads Club. He loved Jimmy Buffet and three-time Superbowl Champions, the Raiders. He appeared as Santa Clause at Arc group homes. Children enjoyed seeing him as Santa Clause all year round.

Randy enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping. His Pride and Joy was visiting with his grandson Bailey on regular Sunday visits. He also enjoyed talking on the phone with his sister Rhonda every Sunday. He loved tinkering in his garage with his husky, "Sophie".

Surviving are his wife Karen; sons, Rick Martinson, C.J. Martinson; step-son, Chad Green; grandchildren, Bailey, Daniel, Freddy, and Gage; sister, Rhonda (Phil) Anderson; nephew, Phillip (Nichole) Anderson; niece, Autumn Anderson; brothers-in-law, Steve (Cheryl) Ryan and Rick Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Rita; aunt Reta and uncle Bob; cousin Dave; good friend Sue; and his husky, "Kasey".
