Funeral services for Raymond D. Anderson, 58, Rock Island, are 11 AM Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Private family interment will be at a later date. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Pathway Hospice. Ray died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Trinity Pathway Hospice Inpatient Unit at Terrace Park, Bettendorf. Raymond was born May 4, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the son of Gale and Edna (Lee) Anderson. He graduated from Alleman High School and received his degree from Southern Illinois University. He married Sharon Dumolien, January 12, 1974 in Moline. Ray was the Supply Manager at John Deere Harvester Works, Moline. He loved the outdoors and was a big Iowa Hawkeye, Chicago Cubs and Bears Fan. Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law Kelly and Dan Litterst, Joliet, IL and Krissy Anderson, Chicago, brother and sister-in-law Don and Kathy Anderson, Flower Mound, Texas, his best friend Kent Breecher, Moline and many other friends and family.
