Raymond M. Bell, 80, East Moline, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at East Moline Nursing and Rehab. He was born November 11, 1930 in Oil Valley, KY, the son of Raymond and Mary (Gregory) Bell. He married Vena Morrow on September 20, 1948. He retired after 32 years with McLaughlin Body Company as a Press Room Supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, watching NASCAR and listening to music. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Vena, children; Donald Bell, Davenport, Gary Bell, Bettendorf, Vera Kerns, Bettendorf, Tim Bell, East Moline and Neva Francisco, Davenport, eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 2 sons; Sidney and Gerold and a sister. At Raymond's request, his body will be cremated and private family services will be held.
