Funeral services for Raymond A. Lamansky, 88, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Visitation will be 2:00-5:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Lamansky died Thursday, December 11, 2014, at his home. Ray was born April 8, 1926, in Mendota, MO, the son of James L. and Grace F. Allen Pickens. He married F. Shirley McGee May 22, 1948, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. She died May 24, 2005. He had worked at Bob Ericksen Chevrolet since it opened. He retired in 1982 as Service Manager, after 25 years of service. He and Shirley enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states. Ray enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and golfing. Survivors include his daughter, Gail (William) Hess, Carbon Cliff, IL; sons, Terry (Cindy) Lamansky, Brighton, MI, and David Lamansky, Dekalb, IL; grandchildren, Joseph (Mechelle) Hess, Jacob (Shari) Hess, Nikolai (Katie), Alexey, Katrina, Molly, Andrew, Daniel, Haley Lamansky; great grandchildren, Julia, Benjamin, James, Adam, Megan, and Maxwell; sisters, Loma Bunting, PA, and Carol Young, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Loyal and Paul Lamansky. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Genesis Hospice.
