Regina L "Gina" Edwards, 63, Hillsdale, IL, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Unity Point Trinity, Rock Island. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline from 12 Noon until 2 PM with a time of sharing at the conclusion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to ASPCA. Gina was born on October 2, 1951 in Moline, the daughter of Clarence and Evelyn (Dorcey) Johnson. She married Jon Edwards on November 16, 1968 in Moline. Gina had driven School Bus for the East Moline School District and worked at John Deere Parts and Distribution. She was devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband Jon, children, Sheri and Jeremy Graham, Silvis and Shawn and Amy Edwards, Spring Hill, TN, grandchildren, Jay Edwards, Abbie Graham, Corbin Edwards and Camron Edwards, and siblings, Kay (Vern) Claeys, Florida, Ed (Barb) Johnson, Texas, Dave (Robin) Johnson, East Moline and John (Chris) Johnson, East Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jack and Michael (who died in the Vietnam War).
