Regina Just, 90, East Moline, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Hope Creek, East Moline. Funeral services are 10 AM Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 2-4PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2PM. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Regina Lauinger was born September 7, 1922 in Linton, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Agatha (Schneider) Lauinger. She served in the US Army as a corporal during WWII. She married Jerome Just on November 10, 1945 in Selma AL. He died in 1976. Regina owned and operated Just Hairstyling until 1985. Regina will be remembered for her humor, her strengths and courage. She had an underlying love that touched all who knew her. Regina spent her last years, building strong relationships with open hands and heart. Regina was a devoted member of many organizations during her lifetime, including the Women of the Moose, East End Ladies Auxiliary, St. Mary's East Moline Circle 3 and several Military groups including the East Moline American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, and the 8 &40. Mrs. Just enjoyed playing golf and the outdoors. Survivors include her children, David (fiance Connie) Just, Clinton, IA, Renee Just, East Moline, Dennis Just, East Moline, and Dana Just, East Moline, grandchildren, Kelly (Ron) Vroman, Jamie (Teri) Just, Jeremy (Renae) Just, Erin (Allen) DeFrieze, Brian (Chris) Spindel, Tina (Dave) Schmidt, Tessa (Jim) Pearce, Nathan (Tami) Just, and Audrey Just, and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Alvina VanderVorste and brothers Joseph Jr., and Eugene.
