Funeral services for Regina M. McNeany 74, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Mrs. McNeany died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at her home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church or the Dominican Fathers. Regina Oakley was born December 21, 1933 in Shirland, IL, the daughter of John and Helen (Becker) Oakley. She married Larry J. McNeany October 23, 1954 in Rockford, IL. He died October 1, 1984. She retired from Black Hawk State Bank, Silvis, IL in 2002 after many years of service. She had been a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and active in the church's Pastoral Care Program. Regina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. Survivors include: daughters, Marie Hanson of East Moline, Kathleen Huntley of Rock Island, IL; son and daughter-in-law, John and Gabriela McNeany of Mt. Prospect, IL; 9 grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Chuck Paul of Menomonee Falls, WI; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister-in-law, Mary K. O'Malley who died in 2007.
