Rena M. Craig, 73, Moline, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Good Samaritan, Davenport. Funeral services are 10AM Tuesday at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, Moline. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorials may be made to QCPaws. Rena Curl was born on a farm on August 27, 1943 in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Henry and Reva (Hayes) Curl. Rena married Frank Montegna and together they had 2 children. She had worked at Oscar Mayer in Davenport and at the former Fresh Pack Candy in Moline. She was a member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. Rena had a special love for animals and enjoyed square dancing. She was generous with her time and talents, helping with many local groups. Survivors include her children Brian (Maryann) Montegna, Colona, and LaDonna (Darren) Beitel, Davenport, step daughter, Cheryl Powell, Ames, IA, five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and siblings, Elvin (Sue) Curl, Bettendorf, Zelda Foster, Big Cabin, OK and Jack Curl, Longmont, CO.
