Renee M. Hernandez, 52, Moline, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home . Renee was born June 27, 1966 in Moline, the daughter of Stephen and Ann (Holmes) Hernandez. She graduated from Moline High School, Class of 1984. She was Community Manager at Crown Forest Apartments, East Moline. Renee enjoyed fishing and singing karaoke. She had an infectious laugh and was always the life of gatherings. She had a heart of gold and was loved by all who knew her. Renee was a fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs as well as the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. Survivors include her children; Christopher (Marina) Hill, Moline, Andrea Hill, Ft. Wayne, IN, Stephanie (Fernando) Bunch, Milan, and Ashley Hill, Ft. Wayne, nine grandchildren, her parents, Steve and Ann Hernandez Sr., Moline, siblings, Lisa Hernandez (Julie Fleetwood), Denver and Stephen (Nikki) Hernandez Jr., Coal Valley, IL, nieces, nephews many aunts and uncles, her special friend Robert , and her beloved dogs, Rocky, Miss Molly and Allie.  In honor of Renee, please wear the color purple.
