Funeral services for Reynaldo V. Gonzalez Sr., 73, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 pm. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Mr. Gonzalez died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at his home. Reynaldo was born December 7, 1941, in Crystal City, TX, the son of Romaldo and Vincenta de la Trinidad Gonzalez Sr. He married Berta Pena March 29, 1960, in Crystal City. She died February 19, 2015. He retired from Xpac, Milan, IL, in 2004, after 35 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His life revolved around his grandchildren. He enjoyed mexican music. Survivors include his daughters, Yolanda (Alfredo) Mancilla, East Moline, and Ernestina Gonzalez, Silvis; sons, Reynaldo Gonzalez Jr., Silvis, and Fernando (Jackie) Gonzalez, East Moline; grandchildren, Jorge (Chanelle) Ochoa Jr., Esteven Ochoa, Jessica Gonzalez, and Eva (Mike) Maldonado; great grandchildren, Monica, Kardiwin, Juan, Acelynn, Antonio, and Tayah; brothers, Chon Gonzalez, Morgan Hill, CA, Raymundo (Berta) Gonzalez, Indio, CA, Romaldo (Zola) Gonzalez Jr., Moline, IL, Tito Gonzalez.
