Richard T. Bauman, 71, East Moline, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at his home. Memorial services are 11 AM Friday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment is in Rock Island National Cemetery, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct Military Honors. A memorial fund has been established. Richard was born November 4, 1941 in Kokomo, IN, the son of Louis and Louella (Howell) Bauman. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Lana Jean Sanders on February 3, 1990 in Rock Island. Mr. Bauman was a self-employed Contractor. He enjoyed time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Lana, children (spouses) Lori Sue Bauman, Richard S. Bauman, both of Aurora, IL, Vicki (Shane) Spencer, Everly, IA and Jennifer (Jon) Smith, Geneseo, four grandchildren whom he adored, his sister Joyce (Mark) Perkins, College Station, TX, and his ex-wife and friend, Margaret Bauman, Aurora, IL.
