Funeral services for Richard E. "Dick" Chandler, 65, East Moline, are 10:30 Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Mr. Chandler died Wednesday, August 03, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Memorials may be made to ARC. Dick was born October 10, 1939 in Madison, WI, the son of Richard and Irma (Hendricks) Chandler. He married Karen Ahrens Alexander on August 14, 1976 in Hampton, IL. He worked as a press operator and later retired as a crib attendant from McLaughlin Body Co. Dick enjoyed NASCAR and the Chicago Cubs. Survivors include his wife Karen, sons and daughter-in-law Kevin James Alexander, Moline, William "Paul" and Heather Alexander, Moline, Anthony Chandler and Robert Chandler, granddaughter Emily Alexander and a sister Virginia.
