Richard P. Johnson, 50, East Moline, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at his home. A memorial services will be held at a later date. At his request, his body will be cremated. Richard was born December 31, 1960 in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert and Lorraine Johnson. He had worked at the parts counter for CarQuest for 20 years. He was a NASCAR fan and loved racing in general. Richard enjoyed building model cars. He is survived by brothers (sister-in-law) Robert Johnson, Darien, IL, Steven (Estelle) Johnson, Hodgkins, IL and "Super" Dave Johnson, East Moline and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A memorial fund has been established.
