Richard L. Lueth, 79, of Davenport, IA, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., the hour prior to services. Interment with military honors will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.

Richard was born May 29, 1947, in Moline, IL, the son of Charles, Jr. and Betty (Stevenson) Lueth. He graduated from Moline High School and received his Associates degree from Black Hawk College. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Richard retired from John Deere, Davenport Works where he worked in supply management.

He enjoyed reading, listening to music, playing the drums, playing pool, camping, and fishing.

Surviving are his children, Tiffany L. Lueth, Moline, and Troy A. Lueth, Riverview, FL; grandchildren, Jaelyn, Annel, Alex, and Sam; great-grandchildren, Nevaya and Alaya; sister, Sharin Peterson, New Windsor; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Richard was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amia; and his parents, Charles Jr. and Betty.
