Richard A. "Rick" Benson, 60, Moline, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private interment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Rick was born December 21, 1957 in Moline, the son of Henry and Doris (Schutz) Benson. He graduated from Moline High School in 1976. Rick retired from the City of East Moline, Street Department. Survivors include his mother Doris, Moline, and siblings, David Benson, Moline, Teri Benson, Washington DC, Barbara Corless, Buckeye, AZ and Michael Benson, Gainesville, FL, three nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
