Funeral services for Richard E. Yeater Sr., 72, of East Moline will held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Private burial will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Davenport, Iowa. Visitation is today Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home where a memorial fund has been established. Richard passed away March 20, 2015 at his home. Richard was born September 6, 1942 in Davenport, Iowa the son of Norman Lee and Genevieve June Eastman Yeater. Richard was an avid bowler, loved playing cards and going on the boat. He was a member of the Viking Club in Moline and worked for Bridgeway Auto Parts in Moline for 40 years. Richard is survived by his children, Geniveive Yeater of Centerville, IA and Richard (Nichole) Yeater Jr. of Monmouth, IL, grandchildren; Alaina, Joey and Jack, siblings Eileen Cotler, FL, Sharon Priester, Bellville, IL, Charles (Laura) Yeater, GA and Robert Grant, IA.
