Rinnah A. Warren, 99, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Private graveside services will be held at Hampton Cemetery, Hampton, IL. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Burn Unit. Mr. Warren was born September 22, 1905 in Hampton Township, IL, the son of Hollis R. and Caroline D. (Schlueter) Warren. He married Gloria M. Stipp, February 11, 1941. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois in 1928 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He joined the firm of Warren Chevrolet in 1928 and retired in 1990. He was a member of Scottish Rite and Coordinate Bodies, Valley of Moline and the Kaaba Shrine of Davenport, IA. He was a member of Rotary Club of East Moline. He served from 1942 to 1980 on the GMA Housing Authority of Rock Island County, serving the last ten years as Chairman. He was elected a director of Metrobank in 1970 and continued to serve as honorary director. Survivors include: his wife of 64 years, Gloria Warren of East Moline, IL; son, Byron Warren of East Moline, IL; grandchildren and spouse, Christopher Warren of Moline, IL, Caroline and Aaron Balcaen of East Moline, IL; great grandchildren, Christina Warren, Drake Warren, Dag Warren and Colin Balcaen. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Edith Misner and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Warren. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.vanhoe.com.
