Obituary
Rita D. Hanssen, 77, Moline, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Private services were held.
Rita Nixon was born on August 5, 1944 in Moline, the daughter of Robert W. and Dorothy (Johnson) Nixon. She retired from the US Postal Service after 23 years.
Survivors include daughter, Wendy Speer, Moline, grandchildren; Alan Speer, TX, Kyle Speer, Moline, and Joshua Speer, Moline, great-granddaughter, Lily Speer, and a brother Tom Nixon, Peoria, AZ.
She now joins her son, David, sister Janet Kline and her parents in heaven.
