Rita K. Kosgard, 64, of East Moline, IL, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at Genesis-Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.

A visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with a Time of Sharing to follow at 6:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.

Rita was born October 11, 1958 in Melrose Park, Illinois, a daughter of Kenneth Sr., and Delores Schieb Holman. She was previously married to William Kosgard, Jr. Her significant other and life companion of over 30 years, Bob Beechamp, preceded her in death on May 16, 2020.

Rita was a teacher for Skip-A-Long for twenty-six years.

She attended Bible Holiness Church, Carbon Cliff. Rita loved shopping, getting her nails done, dining out and her favorite dog, "Bear". Some of her favorite times were those spent with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Kyle W. Kosgard (Nicole Abraham), Moline, William Kosgard III, East Moline, and Kristy Bradley (Kassadi Bradley), East Moline; stepchildren, Scott Beechamp, Silvis, Nick Beechamp, Davenport, and Todd Beechamp, East Moline; grandchildren, William Kosgard, Kyle W. Kosgard, Jr., Kylie Kosgard, Keyanah Kosgard, and Karma Kosgard; siblings, Ronald Asher, Missouri, Carol (Pete) Duytschaever, Coal Valley and Kenneth Holman, Jr., Moline; niece, Kelsie Holman; nephew, Kevin Holman; special friend, Denise Satterly, Cambridge; additional family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
