Robert A. "Bob" Kyser, 48, of Geneseo, IL passed away December 21, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Van Hoe Funeral Home in East Moline, IL where memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Chicago, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. A private graveside service at the Rock Island National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Robert was born on December 21, 1968 in Moline, IL a son of Robert Kyser and Barbara (Lackey) McSparin. He graduated from United Township High School, class of 1987. Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1987 and served as a MP in the Philippines. He was honorably discharged in 1994. He married Donna Freymann, March 13, 1999 at home in rural Geneseo. He was a cable contractor with Illowa Cable for 17 years. Bob enjoyed rebuilding, shooting and repairing guns. He and his son Matt, were involved in IPIC, IDPA and the Rifle Program. He also enjoyed his grandbabies and his family. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. Bob is survived by his wife, Donna, six children: Matthew (Brittany) Seefeldt of Hillsdale, IL,  Andrew (Destiny) Kyser of Colona, IL, Mitchell (Mariah Blasedell) Freymann of Morrison, IL, Meagan Seefeldt of Hillsdale, Sarah Kyser of Geneseo, and Emily Kyser of Silvis, IL; six grandchildren: Chloe, Chance, Myra, Raiden, Bella, and Harper; and his mother: Barbara McSparin of Norfolk, Arkansas.
