Robert Bodenhamer, 92, of Silvis, IL, died Monday, August 17, 2020, at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island. Interment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. There will be no services.

Bob was born August 6, 1928, in Augusta, IL, the son of Garnet and Mary Juanita (Smith) Bodenhamer. He married Hilda C. Glassman January 25, 1946, in Davenport, IA. She died March 30, 2018. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946-47 and the U.S. Air Force from 1949-52. He retired from ADT Security Systems, Rock Island, after many years of service.

Survivors include his children, John R. Bodenhamer, Silvis, and Cynthia (Ken) Versluis, Silvis; grandchildren, Dawn, Jessica, Matthew, and Angela; great grandchildren, Jennifer, Kayden, and Mattelyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Mary Vollmer.
