Robert "Curly" Bradley Sr., 77, Yuma, AZ, formerly of the Illinois Quad-Cities, passed on peacefully on August 21, 2007 in Yuma. Memorial services are 1PM Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the VFW Post 5001, Lewiston, IL where he was a life member and past commander. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery on Monday, September 17, 2007 where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct Military Honors. Anyone wishing to attend services should meet at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline by 8:30 AM. Curly was born April 18, 1930 in Lewistown, IL, the son of Doyle and Luella (Genseal) Bradley. He had worked as a carpenter and truck driver in the area. He served in the US Army. Survivors include children and spouses Doyle and Barbara Bradley, Hudson, NC, Joseph and Rita Bradley, Moline, J.B. and Angie Bradley, Rock Island, John and Traci Bradley, Moline, Debra and Kenneth Weinzweig, Coal Valley, Robin and John Frederick, East Moline, Brenda and Butch Dooley, Granite Falls, NC, Vicki Bradley, Rock Island, Lisa Bradley, Moline, daughter-in-law Jan Bradley, Silvis, stepchildren Karen and John Chenoweth, Moline and Tina and Robert Anderson, Rock Island, twenty-nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and sisters Marjorie and Paul Heffren, Lewistown, Karen Brown and Gary Hansen, Milan, IL and Lela and George Gillis, Lewistown and a special niece Kathy and Bill Grzanich and family, Lewistown. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lori Bradley, son Robert Bradley, grandson Doyle Bradley Jr., and brothers Keith and Chuck.
