Robert Casper, 77, of East Moline, IL, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL. Private graveside services were held at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Heartland Health Care Activities Fund. Mr. Casper was born September 12, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the son of Herbert and Millie Taus Casper. He served in the US Coast Guard and was a Decorated Korean War Veteran. He married Lucy Urbina February 2, 1980 in the church. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration January 3, 1992, where he had been a radar and avionics instructor. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially horse racing. Survivors include his wife, Lucy Casper of East Moline, children (spouse), Lena (Vern), Robert, Enemenico (Missy), Lucia (Joe); many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter.
